     To identify the means of sensitization which make human communication become easier, the advantages of a life within the United Europe, to identify possible topics to be used in a play, we have made the following questionnaire:

  1. Make up a hierarchy of means of human sensitization which produce changes is human thinking, behavior, communication:

     The previous questionnaire was filled in by 54 students and 4 teachers.These students are between 15 and 18 (20 pupils are 15-16 years old, 34 of them are 17-18.)They are students at the following prifiles: mathematics-informatics ,English-bilingual,mathematics-informatics intensive,and nursery school teachers-primary school teachers .According to answers to the questions made up in the questionnaire, the drawn conclusions are:
  1. From the point of view of the ones who answered the questions, the means of sensitization which determine changes in the thinking , the behavior and the human communication, are:
    Very much: the music and the movie Much: the theatre Medium: the dancing Little: the sculpture and the painting
  2. The most efficient ways of expression and communication identified by the ones who answered the questions, both for them and for the groups they belong to are:
    The music ;
    The movie ;
    The theatre.
  3. he advantages which the ones who answered the questions consider they might have, on the condition of the building up on the European Union, but living in their own country are:
    -Depending on the affiliation to the family: mutual understanding,education,a better way of life ,financial advantages,the increased possibilities to educate children,etc.
    -Depending on the affiliation to a community ;
    -the respect for the human being,decent condition of living ,a well organized Society ,the diminution of divergences, free circulation,a lower level of pollution ,the increase of investments,the superior formation as adults,etc.
  4. he advantages which the ones who answered the questions consider they might have, on the condition of the building up on the European Union, but living in their own country are:
    -Depending on the affiliation to the family: mutual understanding,education,a better way of life ,financial advantages,the increased possibilities to educate children,etc.

    -the respect for the human being,decent condition of living ,a well organized Society ,the diminution of divergences, free circulation,a lower level of pollution ,the increase of investments,the superior formation as adults,etc.
  5. The most frequent ways of discrimination met b the people who answered the questionare among their acquaintances depend on:
    -financial situation/social status
    -religion
    -nationality
  6. Any kind of discrimination can be overcome only with:
    -changing the mentalities with education
    -the endorsement of some antidiscrimination laws
    -guaranteeing the minorities rights
    -tolerance
    -the development of some specific programmes and their presentation in ass-media
  7. Possible themes for the theatre plays regarding the discrimation and its overcoming :
    -a teenager has to give up his studies so that he could offer his family a financial support
    -a young girl with a poor financial situation was fighting for continuing her studies ,affirming herself and overcoming her social status
    -the parents of a teenager don’t accept their son’s best friends because he is gipsy
    -a jewish boy with o poor financial situation has to a face the violence of a group of catholic teenager because a girl of their group had fallenin in love with him
    -a hightschool in wich pupils of different nationalies ,religions and with a different social atatus learn
    -the discrimination of poor children
    -a real problem of teenagers-their way of wearing clothes;
  8. The peple who answered the questionnaire consider that the advantages of teenager from the west reported to the ones the Est are the following :
    -better conditions of living and education
    -the variety of information
    -well –aquiped scools ,the chance of involving in school and afterschool projects
    -the report ,the communication ,the understanding and the acceptance of differences,multual respect ,the emphaty
    -hight technology
    -social protection
    -a stable social and political system
    -the real access to free services
    -a favourable social, context for developing educational activity
    -the involvement in the community where they live
  9. The advantages of the teenagers from the East reported to the ones from the west are:
    -the intelligence and the ability to accept ti any environment
    -the will to affirm no matter the social status
    -the will of liberty and affirmation
    -the desire of liberty
    -a more responsible conduct
    -a sense realy
  10. Sources of information concerning Eastern – European teenagers’lives :

  11. General features of the teenagers ,reported to future Europe:
    -accss of information and communication
    -the desire of having a better ,prousperous future
    -desire to know and to be informed
    -the receptivity,inteligence

    - knowing a language of international circulation
    -liberty,
    -tolerance
  12. Condictions for developing both a good communication and a mutual knowing between Romanian and Western-European teenagers within the process of building up the future Europe:
    -the collaboration and exchanges of experience
    -solidarity
    -mutual respect
    -obeying the laws
    -access to the internet in all schools
    -Romania’s integration in the UE;adopting and obeying their laws
    -knowing as many as possible foreign languages school af all levels;
    -mutual knowledge of culture,customes and traditions and last but not least their mutual acceptance
  13. The principles that have to be taken account in this interaction and the fallwing ones:
    -tolerance and mutual respect
    -the liberty of espressing your opinions and respecting the others dignity
    -cooperation and understanding
    -aguality and acceptance
    -mutual confidence
    -egual rights
    - honest ,friendship,solidarity
  14. The ones who have answered the questionnaire detected the folowing regulations and rules according to which the tomorrow European society will function.
    Respect for others,
    Fairness
    Implication in the evolution of the society
    The respect for traditions,
    The respect of authorities towards citizensand the other way round,the exclusion of discriminations
  15. t the building of Europe can contribute:
    1. Parents:
      To encourage children to know and respect others
      To teach children to be responsive at new ideas
      To form their children a correct and realistic image of the European Union
      To encourage their children to respect the rules imposed by society and the European Community
      To give more freedom and trust to the youth, to facilitate their implication in as much as possible social actions
      To assure their children the best conditions for education and to educate them in the European spirit
  16. Teachers :
    To diminish theorization in favour of interactive, creative and pragmatic activities
    To inform pupils with concern to EU, to present pupils their rights and responsibilities
    To educate pupils in the principles of the European spirit
    To inform ,to remove the prejudices and stereotypes about EU
    To form responsible behaviours and attitudes
  17. Adolescents themselves
    to respect laws and rules and to contribute to putting them to a good use
    to involve in the life of the community and the one of the society they live in
    to be open to new ideas
    to prepare themselves intensively for a competitional economy
    to use the received information,the instilled values and to transmit them further
  • To live in the world they are preparing for them, the ones who answer this questionnaire will teach their children:
    To be responsible, to respect the others, to accept new challenges
    To be clever and open minded
    To take risks, to work hard
    To trust themselves and to express and sustain their opinions
    To respect the law
    To take every chance
    To not have preconceived ideas, to be good citizens, to involve in social life
    To respect traditions
    To be optimistic and hardworking
    To cherish ,above all the people’s character
    To try their best so that they leave behind a better world
         From our pupils’ answers resulted the need of intercultural communication ,respect towards the others ,towards their values.
    The pupils accept differences ,they are prepared to solve them efficiently ,they recommend mutual acceptance and the respect of human rights.
         They think that through knowledge ,acceptance and interaction with the other ethnic groups can contribute to the diminishing of one’s prejudices about the others.
         They believe in co-operation and solidarity. They display their desire of knowledge and information.
    The artistic language (music, film, theatre)contribute to the achievement of intercultural communication. This hierarchy established by the ones who answer the questionary(music, film, dance, theatre)can be explained by the fact that theatre ,as form of manifest of the human sensibility, gathers all the others.
    The advantages of the children in the West reported to the ones who live in the East are well identified ,according to the advantages ,the rights and the possibilities, which children in a democratic state,in a stable, well organized society have.
    The respect towards law,norms, involvement in the community’s life , responsibilities, competitiveness, receptivity are values which children want to bild up their life on within the European community.
